Since its inception many have defined the spirit of giving at UC by providing exceptional educational and athletics opportunities to students who might not have had the chance to attend college, let alone earn a degree, without your financial support.
After college; after the lights on the field are out; after the locker room is empty; looking beyond the sport, your generous gift will help the student-athlete move past the wins and losses, toward a bright and successful future.
NEW George D. Smith Society Information
- There has been a reduction in the number of giving levels from three to two and each level is available for one or multiple-year terms.
- The George D. Smith Society membership can be achieved on an annual basis. Those electing to renew year to year are subject to potential annual increases.
- The base level of $12,000 can be locked in for those selecting a multiple-year commitment.
- Beginning with the 2008-09 men's basketball season, new George D. Smith Society seat locations will be established.
The George D. Smith Society is open to anyone with an interest in UC Athletics. While many members are alumni, former-athletes and staff, others are not - they are simply fans. George D. Smith Society members demonstrate their allegiance to the University and to individual student-athletes by contributing generous gifts at one of two levels:
- $12,000/year
- $25,000/year
Your donations allow young people to complete their college careers without financial burdens or worries. Your donations give students a chance to reach their fullest potential academically and athletically. Your donations represent a powerful resource for the University, allowing the Department of Athletics to provide a rewarding and memorable collegiate experience to UC student-athletes.
